Doug Appleton
CHIEF CREATIVE DIRECTOR, PERCEPTION
Doug Appleton is Perception’s Chief Creative Director and resident VFX wizard. Doug has grown with the team from their early days and has continued to flourish up the hierarchy. His skill in successfully executing a diverse array of projects in the world of motion is matched only by his curiosity of the technology itself.
Doug’s projects have ranged from detailed UX interface projects for high profile security clients, to lead director on title sequences for Loki, Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther, and WandaVision, which earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Main Title Design in the 2021 Emmy Awards.
Cameron Slayden
CEO, MICROVERSE STUDIO
Cameron Slayden has produced scientific visualization since 1998, having produced illustrations and animations for universities, scientific journals, and documentary series for History, Discovery, and National Geographic. His company, Microverse Studios, is primarily dedicated to producing molecular and cellular animations for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
His greatest joy is riding the cutting edge of biological discovery and making the unfolding biological singularity accessible to the world.
Paul Cutsinger
DIRECTOR OF OMNIVERSE EXCHANGE, NVIDIA
Paul Cutsinger is director of Omniverse Exchange at NVIDIA where he’s focused on tooling for real time, true to reality simulation.
With a career spanning Amazon, Disney, and Microsoft, Paul’s work centers on enabling creators take their ideas into production.
Mac Moore
HEAD OF MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT, COREWEAVE
Mac brings over 20 years of Enterprise Software expertise to CoreWeave and Conductor and has a passion for transformative technology.
He sees cloud completely altering how we think and execute in the digital content creation ecosystem and is passionate about leading its direction.
Nic Cabana
CO-CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CLAYNOSAURZ
Nic is an Annie Award-nominated animator, whose involvement in animation and visual effects spans the last decade. His work is featured in franchises including Jurassic World, Game of Thrones, The Suicide Squad, Fantastic Beasts, and Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has been part of multiple Academy Award-nominated teams and has supervised animation on Game of Thrones, Fantastic Beasts 2, Paddington 2, and most recently HBO’s Dark Materials series.
Nic has also directed animation for music videos including Kaytranada’s Lite Spots, which garnered critical acclaim and was considered one of the best music videos of the year by Rolling Stones magazine.
Martin Mayer
EMEA CREATIVE SERVICES, FOUNDRY
Martin is a versatile artist, focusing on 3D animation, and head’s up Foundry’s EMEA Creative Services. His work is a blend of traditional analog techniques with digital. Martin truly enjoys all the facets of production: from creative to technical.
Martin’s work includes numerous commercials; a variety of motion graphics activations and several documentaries for Discovery World, Discovery US, History US and Canada and the BBC. He has worked as an Art Director in advertising and has taught in colleges in Canada and Mexico.

Key representatives from the graphics community compared experiences and explored techniques related to pushing production pipeline and correlated resources toward the cloud.
